Igor Pisarsky
Igor Pisarsky has been ivolved in advertising and PR since 1990. He began as an art director and CEO of Metapress. In 1993, he founded R.I.M. Now Igor has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors at R.I.M. Porter Novelli since 2002. Igor has made a significant contribution to the advertising and PR industry in Russia. He is a co-founder of the Russian Association of Advertising Agencies (president 1993-6). In 1997, he founded a national award in PR and Communications, the Silver Archer – with the support of the Chamber of Commerce and Journalists’ Union. Mr. Pisarsky was thrice awarded the title of the Media Manager of the Year in the following nominations: Contribution to Industry Development, PR Industry and Special Merit in the development of media business. Igor graduated from the Moscow Architectural Institute (Urban Development) in 1985. He went on to complete a doctorate with a thesis "The use of public spaces in central Moscow". Interestingly he also worked as an architect and taught design at Moscow Institute of Architecture. Since 2000, Igor has been a member of the Russian Advertising Academy. Today, Igor Pisarsky is a professor at the prestigious Higher School of Economics, and has authored books and a number of articles on various issues in the industry. Igor Pisarsky is a full-fledged member of the Russian Advertising Academy, member of IAA and of the Media Industries Associations Council, the High expert council member of the Russian Public Relations Association, Vice-President of the Russian Communication Agencies Association, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Silver Archer National Public Relations Awards and joint editor of humanitarian technologies magazine “So-obshcheniye”. |
